The Rajasthan High Court will hear on Friday, the bail application of actor Salman Khan, who is convicted in the chinkara poaching case.
The actor's case was listed in the court of Justice H R Panwar on Thursday after Justice G K Vyas refused to hear Salman's bail plea.
After calling for the case records on Thursday, Justice Panwar deferred the hearing till Friday.
Dipesh Mehta, a Mumbai-based lawyer and a Supreme Court advocate Uday Lalit appeared for the actor.
Salman, who was arrested on Saturday, is lodged in Central Jail in Jodhpur after losing his appeal in the district and session court of Jodhpur against his sentence in the chinkara poaching case handed out by the Chief Judicial Magistrate on April 10.
If the Maine Pyar Kiya star fails to get the bail on Friday, he will have no option but to spend the weekend behind bars.
