 Vimala Raman was the only actress in Mollywood who had been signed for five projects even before the release of her first film. She was even lucky enough to appear with every superstar in Malayalam in a span of ten months. Starting with Suresh Gopi in ‘Time', she was seen with Mammootty in ‘Nasrani’, and with Jayaram in ‘Sooriyan’. She was the heroine of Mohanlal in ‘College Kumaran’. Vimala definitely did her best to liven up the characters and was quite natural in almost all the roles that she did. But the fate of her films definitely had a say in her Mollywood career and in no time she was left with very little offers. But now Vimala seems to be planning a comeback with the new film Apoorva . Apart from her, the movie will feature Jagathy, Innocent and Tamil star Senthil in Key roles.
