Director Vasantha Balan is over the moon now. His Veyyil has been selected for screening at the most prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The movie would be screened on 19 May at 5.30 pm.
Produced by Shankar , the movie stars Pasupathy, Bharath, Bhavana and debutant Priyanka in the cast. Music is by G V Prakash.
According to a letter sent to producer Shankar by the Government of India Directorate of Film Festivals- ‘Veyil has been selected for screening in the 'Tous les Cinemas du Monde' (All the Cinemas of the World) section at Cannes.’
A happy Vasantha Balan says, "I owe it all to producer Shankar The industry needs the likes of him, who encourage new talents and fresh ideas without compromising on the quality.”
