Thieves broke into the ancestral home of Sanjay Dutt in Mandoli village of Yamunanagar, early on Saturday morning. His uncle Som Dutt and his wife were not home, as they had left for Bombay about two weeks back, in connection with the TADA court's verdict on the actor.
As per sources, the thieves decamped with cash, jewellery and other articles valued between Rs 6 - 7 lakhs. The Dutts own farm land in the village. Deewan Suraj Dutt, a cousin of late Sunil Dutt, said Som Dutt has been informed about the theft.
For those who don't know, Sanjay Dutt's father, late Sunil Dutt, along with his mother Kulwanti Devi , sister Rani and brother Som Dutt, has settled in Mandoli village of Yamunanagar in Haryana, after partition.
