Amitabh Bachchan sports different coloured lenses in his film Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag. Apparently it was quite a complicated procedure to fit him with those lenses considering his age. The lens on his right eye is blue coloured while the one on the left is brown.
It was Ram Gopal Verma's idea that the Big B should wear different coloured lenses for the film. However, it was Bachchan's family surgeon Dr Himangshu Mehta who got the soft lenses made for him. The superstar tried on lenses with different hues and shades and had more than 50 sittings with his surgeon before settling on the brown and blue coloured ones as they went well with the negative character that he is playing in the movie.

The difficulty arose in making the Big B wear the lenses as because of his age. It was a long process and required a lot of skill. As one ages, it becomes difficult for the eye to hold the lens for a long period of time.
It was only super will power and the drive for perfection that enabled Bachchan to sport those lenses for such a long period of time. While on the Big B, it seems that he may sport a bald look for Mira Nair's Shantaram. It seems that the director has managed to convince him to have a bald pate for his portrayal of Kader Bhai to Johnny Depp's Shantaram.
