Not only Veyyil director Vasanthabalan, but cinematographer turned director Thangar Bachchan is also brimming with joy. His latest film Pallikoodam is competing at the much-acclaimed Cannes Film Festival in the international film section.
Speaking to reporters yesterday (Monday), Thangar Bachchan said no director had so far made a film on schools, where doctors, advocates, engineers and other great men were created. Stating Pallikoodam as his answer to fulfill the gap, Thangar added that the movie has an interesting and lively screenplay, which would surely attract the common man.
With Sneha playing the heroine role in the film as a teacher, Thangar is currently busy with the post- production works of the movie.
