The Rythu Garjana at Vijayawada has attracted a number of people from all over the state. Vijayawada is now teeming with lakhs of activists and participants. The TDP has termed the rally as Rythu Garjan and said that lakhs of farmers would attend the rally. While many rhythu sangam chiefs have made it with their supporters, not many farmers have made it to the rally.
Initial reports from Vijayawada state that there are more TDP party activists at the rally than farmers. The party men have outnumbered the farmers many times over. The TDP leaders have made arrangements to bring people from far and wide. The party is not only providing them with food and water but also conveyance allowance ranging from 100 rupees to two hundred rupees.
