By now everybody knows of actress Sushmita Sen's fascination for the character of Rani Laxmibai. The actress has been planning the film for a while now. The actress, who will be playing the lead role, is also producing the film, the first by her production house.
But it seems that matters were not moving ahead at the speed that they should due to a lack of funds. But now it seems that Sushmita is in luck. According to reports, she has apparently found a producer, Rakesh Sarin, who has agreed to finance her film to the tune of Rs 85 crores. The actress has been on the look around for a financier for a while now.
She now seems to have struck gold. But the oerson who engineered this was producer Vivek Vaswani. He is the one who reportedly used his good will to arrange the deal with the financier for Sush. Now that the biggest hurdle has been cleared, the stage seems to be set for Sushmita to do her Rani Laxmibai act.
