Now-a-days, there are only few people, who are using cinema as a medium for the social cause. All the producers are eyeing the profits and are going for commercial subjects instead of making a film to send a message across to the people. But one such film has come after a long time. Directed by K. Satyanarayana and presented by Haranath Policherla, a successful and practicing doctor in the US, who had a commitment to strive to play an active role in bringing about a positive change in the Indian society, 'Hope' is one such film, which deals with the stress and strain being imposed on students by the corporate colleges. The unit had organized a preview of the film at Prasad Multiplex in Hyderabad. Several top film personalities including K Viswanath, former Union minister Krishnamraju and others graced the show. Dr D Ramanaidu, who played an important role in the film, besides heroine Kalyani , attended the preview. Before the show, Producer Haranath and director Satish complimented everyone and thanked all those who took part in the film-making and also those who attended the function.

Director Satish prepared an excellent subject especially on a topic, which makes people to rethink and debate for quite sometime. Not only directing 'Hope', he himself provided story, screenplay and dialogues for the film, which is meant to create widespread awareness and spark off meaningful debate on the subject of education and its role in molding the society. As the film was meant to give a message to the society, Dr Ramanaidu, one of the prominent personalities, was chosen for a key role in the film, as the audiences would receive the message correctly, if it comes from a top person. So far, Ramanaidu played small-time roles in various films. For the first time, he played a full length role. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam lent his voice to the dialogues by Dr D Ramanaidu. Kalyani performed extremely well in her role. The highlight of the film is that the film had the playback music from maestro Illayaraja.
