Aamir Khan had to abort the grand launch plans for his forthcoming film Taare Zameen Par due to his family problems. But it is believed that the actor is believed to be making hush hush plans of visiting his mentor and favourite actor Shammi Kapoor at his residence this afternoon along with an audio CD of the film.
According to sources, Aamir wants Shammi to do the official unveiling of the music album, which has already hit the stores earlier this month. Accompanying the actor will be his wife Kiran Rao, music directors Shankar , Ehsaan and Loy and lyrcist Prasoon Joshi. Aamir always wanted to present the first copy of the music CD to Shammi and seek his blessings. Not too many people are aware that of Aamir’s long association with Shammi Kapoor. Aamir was introduced to the veteran by his late uncle Nasir Hussain, who had directed Shammi in quite a few films.
It is believed that Aamir idolized Shammi Kapoor during his struggling days. Coming to the music launch, because the veteran has not been keeping too well he asked Aamir to meet him at his residence instead. After his late uncle, if there is someone who Aamir respects and holds close to his heart, then it is Shammi Kapoor, who in turn, is also quite fond of the actor.
