Oops, it has happened again!
After being already delayed by close to a year, Shah Rukh Khan's 'baraat' has now been pushed ahead by at least six more months. We are talking about DULHA MIL GAYA which features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. The film, which was all set to arrive last year, has been constantly getting delayed with every passing month. However, the current piece of news which has come in signifies that DULHA MIL GAYA would now be arriving not before November 2008.
However, with Shah Rukh getting busy with Aditya Chopra's RAB NE BANA DI JODI during the winter season (the film is confirmed for a 12th December release), one wonders if he would be able to get his dates in place for DULHA MIL GAYA?
In the past there have also been rumors that it is primarily due to date/other hassles with Shah Rukh Khan that has lead to the delay of DULHA MIL GAYA. However, on his part, producer Vivek Vaswani has always maintained that he would rather choose to keep a dignified silence than try to react to the controversies. He has maintained that the film is on the right course and would soon resume shooting.
DULHA MIL GAYA also stars Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan and Tara Sharma apart from Shah Rukh Khan. The film is written and directed by debutant Mudassar Aziz and has seen a considerable part of it already been shot.
Now we wait to see how long does it take further on for the film to reach its completion? After all this is one 'dulha' we would love to see even though 'rab' has already a 'jodi' for King Khan!
