Here is some more on London Dreams, a film which was to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, but got shelved due to problems with the producer. Actors Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan were a part of that project. Now it seems that Salman is very keen to revive the project.
It is believed that Salman was overwhelmed with the response that he received when he attended the unveiling of his wax replica at Madame Tussauds and that got him thinking about reviving his long-shelved dream project. He is now raking personal interest in reviving the film. The film which is based on the desi music scene of UK will now be made at a larger scale than originally planned and is set to be directed by Vipul Shah, whose last film Namastey London was a hit.
Salman is all set to play the pivotal role in the film, which is now being made at a staggering budget of Rs 65 crores. More than 70 per cent of then film will be shot in London. Shah has confirmed that he is directing the film. It is believed that Salman’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif may be roped in to play the female lead. But she has not yet been finalized. Actor Akshay Kumar is being considered for Devgan’s role as the latter it down. Meanwhile, it seems that Santoshi is quite unaware of the developments. He is the original writer and director of the film.
