Krazzy 4, the latest film from Rakesh Roshan's stable, has run into legal trouble after an advertising jingles composer moved Bombay High Court alleging his tunes have been copied in the film.

The film is due for release on April 11, and its music album is out.

But Ram Sampath, who has composed some 3,000 advertising jingles, has sought to restrain Roshan from using his tracks in the movies, and asked for damages worth Rs 2 crore.

Justice D G Karnik will hear the matter on Wednesday, but before that he will be listening to the music in his chamber on Tuesday evening.

Krazzy 4's music is composed by Rakesh Roshan's brother Rajesh Roshan. According to Sampath, four tracks from the film are a "direct lift" from his tunes for the advertisement for Sony Ericsson cell-phones last year.

Interestingly, both the advertisement as well as one of the allegedly `lifted' songs in the movie feature Bollywood heart-throb Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan's son.

The film stars Rajpal Yadav, Irfan Khan and Arshad Warsi.

According to Sampath's lawyers, when the music of Krazzy 4 started playing on television channels, he noticed its similarity to his tunes for the advertisement.
