 After staying away from Malayalam cinema for as long as three years, glamour queen Nayantara is returning to her home turf. It was in the Mammootty starrer Rappakal in 2005 when Nayanatara last played a significant role in any Malayalam film. She recently did a cameo in director Joshi’s ‘Twenty: 20’ but the role was too brief. Now, Nayantara is reported to be returning to Malayalam cinema with director Padmakumar’s upcoming film ‘Bombay Dreams’ starring actor-script writer Anoop Menon in the lead role. The film’s story revolves around a married couple who are compelled to stay together even after getting divorced. The script is written by K. Gireesh Kumar and camerawork will be done by Manoj Pillai. ‘Bombay Dreams’ is set to roll in January next year. Meanwhile, Nayan has got a couple of Tamil projects in her kitty as well. She is already doing ‘Aegan’ with Ajith and is set to do ‘Paiya’ with Karthi.
