Pop singer Mika Singh, booked in a molestation case filed by Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant, was on Saturday granted anticipatory bail by a court here.
The sessions court, while granting Mika bail, ordered that he could be released on paying Rs 20,000 and a surety for a similar amount in the event of his arrest.
Mika is charged with molestation, assault and criminal intimidation of witnesses. While molestation and assault are bailable offences, criminal intimidation is non-bailable.
Sawant filed a complaint against Mika on June 11, alleging that he forcibly kissed her at a late night birthday party hosted by him at a suburban restaurant on June 10.
She also charged Mika's bodyguard with assaulting one of her friends who intervened.
