Material Girl Madonna is making a point to visit all the important temples in Udaipur including the famous shrine of Shrinathji at Nathadwara that's revered by the Vaishnavas. Madonna also visited the 15th century Shiv temple of Eklingji> and is believed to have described the experience as peaceful.
With husband Guy Ritchie in tow, the queen of pop spent nearly half an hour at the 11th century saas bahu temples. Sources say she was in awe of the stone carvings there. Madonna, who has been in Rajasthan since December 31, spent the last two days of her Indian holiday in Udaipur staying at the seven star Udai Vilas hotel.
Accompanied by hubby and her three children, Madonna also took time out on Sunday to go sightseeing besides a visit to the Pichola lake. The pop star will fly out of the country via Mumbai on Tuesday.
