Bollywood's big parivar, Big B, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan turned up at a party hosted by London's Mayor, Ken Livingstone in Mumbai. The glittering affair went all out boost cultural, educational and tourism initiatives between London and India.

The star of the show of course turned out to be the Big B, who incidently is also a personal favourite of the Mayor

"We are awarding Amitabh Bachchan for his contribution to Bollywood, a lovely ambassador for India. Mr Bachchan was also present in signing the agreement between the London film industry and Bollywood," said Livingstone.

"It's been great being invited by the Mayor of London in Mumbai. We had very fruitful meetings and we signed a memorandum between the respective film industries of our two nations," added Amitabh Bachchan, when it was his turn to speak.

And who can be better cultural ambassadors than those who can speak straight from the heart. Well, the Bachchan parivar certainly managed to do just that when they shared their fond memories of London.

"London was home to me for a year when I won the Miss World title," said Ashwariya Rai Bachchan

I love London because it was where I went with Jaya on our honeymoon," added the Big B.
