Perizaad Zorabian is back in Bollywood, is looking and feeling like a rockstar and is in the second happiest phase of her life!

But before we say more about how her life is looking, here’s something about her down-to-earth attitude. In the city recently, Perizaad ensured that everyone who came to her for a byte went back satisfied. And she also repeatedly apologised to people whom she kept waiting.

“That’s because I have been on the other side. My first job was at a hotel in New York, which required me to meet hotshots and celebrities. And I only remember and respect people who were modest and humble. There were others who lived in their own worlds and even though I dealt nicely with them, I bitched about them later. You know who you want to be and who you don’t want to be, and I am very clear about that,” she says.

Coming back to her happiness quotient, Perizaad says the birth of her daughter Zaha is the second best thing in her life. And what was the first best? “Meeting my husband, Boman! He is extremely powerful, passionate and he is a man who has truly arrived in life. Ever since I met him, there is this extra josh in me. Then I had a baby with him! It is an indescribable feeling and marrying him is probably the best thing I’ve done. It seems like a fairytale,” she smiles.

She may have married Boman Irani, the builder, but people still think that she tied the knot with the actor Boman. “Now, it is pretty much in control but when I had just started seeing Boman, it was like, ‘Oh my God, she is just like her character in Joggers’ Park’. They kept asking me if I am seeing the actor and I kept telling them, ‘No, he’s the builder’.”

And now, the actress is all set to balance motherhood and her career. “I want my time away from Zaha totally worth that while. A part of me has changed post motherhood and I want to do work that makes Zaha proud of me. I also wanted to move out of my comfort zone and stretch my limits. I have some interesting projects in hand now – N Chandra’s Breaking News, a romantic comedy Kabhi Up Kabhi Down with Sanjay Suri and Highway 203 with Kay Kay Menon,” she updates.
