The shooting of the Tamil version of 'Lion' is no amidst loads of controversies and Sharat Kumar, the film's hero, is making the most of the attention that the film is bringing to him.
In the film, there is a scene in which a former Chief Minister of the state gets arrested by the police in the middle of the night. A similar incident happened in Tamilnadu a few years ago. Not many were happy with the scene being depicted in the film, but Sharat Kumar has announced that the scene in the film isn't based on the incident that took place in Tamilnadu. "A similar even happened in Kerala too and we are depicting it," he replied.
The lead pair of Karthika and Sharat Kumar has now gone to Malaysia to film a few song sequences. The film's shooting begins in another few days and the crew will return to India after the 22nd of this month to complete few more scenes in India.
