Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has received an invitation to walk the red carpet at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) with Hollywood luminaries Demi Moore and Richard Gere on Dec 10.

"I'm specially excited because I'll be walking the red carpet along with the likes of Demi Moore and Richard Gere. For someone who has come from a very small hill station where Hollywood was a distant dream, this is a long way to come," Kangana told IANS.

Kangana is the only Bollywood actor besides Shah Rukh Khan to have been invited to DIFF.

Apparently, Shah Rukh is yet to confirm his presence at the festival, which starts Dec 10.

Apart from DIFF, Kangana has to attend the Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA) in Malaysia just a day before she walks the red carpet at Dubai.

"I can't dream of missing GIFA because I'm getting my life's first award as best debutante. I plan to fly in to collect my award Dec 9 and fly out to Dubai the next day."
