If reports are to believed then Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut U Me Aur Hum is inspired by The Notebook, one of the most romantic dramas of recent times starring Ryan Gosling and Rachael Mc Adams.

Recently pictures of the shoot aboard a cruise ship were all over the internet. It showed Ajay and Kajol as an old couple. According to sources, Ajay and Kajol will be shown as a young couple first and then will be shown ageing. Apparently Kajol was not willing to go a full grey and hence will be seen with less grey than Ajay.

The Notebook opens with an old man reading a story about two young lovers to an old woman in an old age home. Sources confirm that U Me Aur Hum has elements of The Notebook in it. The film is set on a crusie ship and is an al out romantic film with comic elements in it. The film also stars Isha Sharvani, Sumeet Raghavan , Karan Khanna and Divya Dutta in supporting roles.
