All know that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is extremely choosy and selective in deciding which film to work in. Aamir says his gut feeling and not industry demands guide his choice of films to act in.
``My choice of films is governed by my heart and instinct,'' Aamir told a news weekly recently. ``I'm not governed by what the market demands.''
Aamir said he loved the script of his latest movie, Taare Zameen Pe , about a child's strong bond with his teacher. The film is scheduled for a November release.
``When I'm reading a script, I react to it as a member of the audience,'' Khan said according to the paper. ``If it excites me, I want to do it.''
Aamir said his role in any film was not as important as the plot.
``To me, filmmaking is about the film, not the individual,'' he was quoted as saying. ``As an actor I believe my job is to get the script right.''
