Well, this is the subject matter of the full page advertisements in major newspapers in Mumbai. So, all you guys who’d been missing The-Man-With-The-Cap, you can check out these adds which claim in a loud mouthed manner as to how successful Himesh’s US concerts have been. It also says that the promoters are considering it to be bigger than Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Temptations’ concerts a few years ago.
The reports have been positive about Himesh’s concerts and putting up such big adds is not really required. His music back home has become too repetitive and people are tired of his self obsession with his own voice. There’s blatant criticism of his music in the last couple of months. In fact there was a feud between him and singer Sonu Nigam when Sonu said that Himesh is a non-singer and Reshammiya had allegedly retorted by saying “Who is Sonu Nigam?”. What goes up must come down. A year ago, Himesh earned the singing sensation title with Aaditya Dutt’s ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’. And now an year down the line, as Aaditya’s second film ‘Dil Diya Hai’ is releasing today, Himesh’s music is not the same any more. It’s time, The-Man-With-The-Cap cut back on his work, worked on his orchestration and music arrangement. And try and do quality work.
