 After Mayavi, Gopika plays heroine to Mammootty once again. The other details will be out soon. It has been reported that Bollywood singer Lucky Ali will sing a song for this film. G V Prakash will be the music director of the film. Gopika is going steady with a couple of big offers in Malayalam. In Tamil, she is back on track with Veerappu alongside Sundar C. She says, “Iam happy that things are going on right direction. Hopefully I continue to give my best and establish myself as an actress”.

The film was originally scheduled to hit the screen on June 25 but it will now be released on July 10. Venu is the hero and the film is set with a rural backdrop with river Godavari playing a key role. Kamalini Mukherjee is the heroine. She plays a doctor who runs a mobile boat clinic on Godavari treating patients living in the small islands in the river.
