 Now actress Gopika is the latest to join the bandwagon of sexy starlets willing to expose onscreen. It's a known fact that she is endowed with beauty and talent; yet the producers and directors have been reluctant to offer her the role of a heroine due to her reservations about exposing her anatomy. But now, much to the delight of all the directors, she is willing to shed her clothes to the extent a cinematographer can exploit. She has already set an example for herself in the film Veedu Maamoolodu Kadu, in which she did a steamy sequence getting drenched in rain and showing her curvaceous figure.

The film was originally scheduled to hit the screen on June 25 but it will now be released on July 10. Venu is the hero and the film is set with a rural backdrop with river Godavari playing a key role. Kamalini Mukherjee is the heroine. She plays a doctor who runs a mobile boat clinic on Godavari treating patients living in the small islands in the river.
