The MLAs and MPs had been worried over the delimitation issue. As many as 60 MLAs and MPs were set to lose their constituencies in the delimitation exercise. But there is some good news for them. Digvijay Singh said that the report tabled in Parliament may not be pushed in a hurry. Some parties like the JD (U) led by Lalu Prasad Yadav are opposed to it.

According to Digvijay Singh, the delimitation exercise is yet to be completed in some states and such, the report may not be implemented now. So there is no worry for MLAs and MPs at least during the coming elections in 2009.
