A song scripted by Suddala Ashok Teja denoting the shining glory of the Telugu Film Industry is being choreographed on top heroes and heroines under the direction of K Raghavendra Rao and Krishnavamsi.
Revealing this, chief convener of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Committee says, 'Like Vandemataram…, Janaganamana… and Maa Telugu Talliki…' songs, this song would also remain at high standards and could be rendered or playback during the film-related functions, like film launches, audio launches, 100-day functions etc., Even this song would be useful for the centenary celebrations of the Telugu Cinema after 25 years. Devisri Prasad had tuned the song and this would enthrall the audiences who participate in the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations from January 26 to 28.'
KS Ramarao further says, 'We are going to celebrate the function on a grand manner with a heavy budget costing more than Rs 1 crore. We asked the participants to pay an entry fee and everyone voluntarily responded to it. All the artistes, technicians, directors, producers, distributors, exhibitors responded immediately.
During a meeting that was convened at Annapurna Studios, the artistes and technicians announced their donations on the spot. They took the entry passes even for their followers and friends by paying the necessary entry fee. A total of Rs 1 crore was collected on that day alone.'
