Padikkadhavan's shooting has been stalled! Sources say that the team is awaiting permission from the Southern Railways to film a stunt sequence either at the Central Railway Station or at the Egmore Railway Station.

Earlier, it was planned to can the scene at the sets erected for this purpose at the Ramoji film City after sacking the idea of

having the shoots in a real railway station. But director Suraaj and Dhanush were not satisfied with the arrangements as they felt trains in motion would be more realistic. They got into action immediately and sent a request to the railway authorities asking for permission. It is said that the shooting has been on hold for the past ten days as the authorities are expected to permit them to shoot after 14 days. The team has requested for a four-day permission to shoot the stunt scenes at night.
