Ayesha Takia to marry boyfriend Farhan Azmi by the end of this year, will most likely get themselves a house in South Mumbai

Ayesha Takia and beau Farhan Azmi have finally decided to formalise their relationship. The wedding is likely to take place by the end of this year. According to our source, "Ayesha and Farhan have been dating for nearly three years and are very serious about each other. It's time to take the relationship to the next and a meaningful level. The families have met and discussed the wedding plans."

When contacted, Ayesha said, "Yes, I am getting married very, very soon. I will make a formal announcement of the date and the month, shortly." Farhan was more frank and forthcoming. He told Mumbai Mirror, "Ayesha and I have decided to marry. It could be end of this year or early next year. I know Ayesha's parents very well and my parents too like her a lot."

We asked Farhan if it was true that Ayesha was not signing new projects because she intends settling down as homemaker. He argued, "That's not the reason why Ayesha is signing fewer films. Actually she is not getting the kind of work she would enjoy doing." Bold and daring roles, right? Farhan replied, "You know how she works."

"We haven't yet decided whether we will stay with my parents or not. Both of us have to sit and discuss that yet," said Farhan. He added that they are likely to take up a house in South Mumbai after marriage.

Lately, Ayesha dropped out of Jagmohan Mundhra's Do Not Disturb (opposite Govinda), which is a sex comedy. Confirming that she is not doing Do Not Disturb, Ayesha said, "I had told Anuj Sharma (producer of Do Not Disturb) that I was unable to fit the film in my schedule. So, I opted out. I hadn't given Anuj any confirmation per se. As for my current assignments, they include Pathshala."
