Union finance minister P Chidamabaram accompanied Prime Minster Manmohan Singh long with planning commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia for a review meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday. This is the first time that the PM is undertaking a review of the work being done by a state government.

The state government presented before the PM the state government’s plans to attract investment for projects in the state. Ten big projects are in the pipeline and P Chidambaram was very impressed with the work being done by the state government for wooing FDI.
