The voice of Rajnikanth sounded very familiar but quite different to the audience who went to watch the film Kathanyakudu. For the audience, the voice of Rajnikanth sounded a bit different from what they were used to all these years.

The difference is that, for a change, it was our own SP Balasubrahmanyam who lent his voice for Rajnikanth. All these years it was singer Mano who was doing the dubbing for Rajnikanth.

Balu did a good job no doubt but the voice of Rajnikanth sounded ‘quite different’ in Kathanayakudu and it took some time for the audience to connect with it.
