Balakrishna’s prestigious project ‘Okkamogadu’ opened to some very big expectations among his fans. The film boasted of three heroines – Simran , Anushka and Nisha Kothari Balakrishna also played a dual role in the film. YVS Choudhary made the film under his own direction.

The film bombed miserably at the box office. This enraged Balayya’s fans and they even attacked YVS Choudhary’s home and office in Hyderabad. YVS Choudhary in a bid to placate Balayya’s fans ran the film for 100 days in his newly renovated theatre ‘Bommarillu’ at Gudivada. The film was also run for 100 days at Adoni town.
