Hero Balakrishna is now in a bitter battle with Lakshmi Parvathi over the control of the Basavatarakam Memorial Trust. The trust is now in the control of LP and Balakrishna filed a petition in the high court some time back seeking transfer of powers from LP to him.

Balakrishna has now filed a reply to the counter affidavit filed by LP. Balayya said in his affidavit that LP had no legal stake in the trust and she was only after name, fame and money. Her marriage to NT Rama Rao was not legally correct as she did not divorce her husband before marrying NTR
