Ankitha made her mark with the film 'Simhadri'. She has acted in a few fiulms in Telugu but has had a mixed career so far. However she is very optimistic about her future in the industry.

The actor celebrated her 25th birthday recently and shared a few thoughts with the media. Ankitha says that she is very serious about her acting career and has therefore decided to shift her base to Hyderabad. She has acquired a new home in Hyderabad. She is currently acting in a movie on the banner of Supergood films banner with Tarun and Akash as heroes.

She has also acted in a Kannada and a Tamil movie. Ankitha has a total of 13 films to her credit so far. She says that in these days many heroines disappear after a couple of movies and her track record shows that she is here to stay. She also regrets doing an item number in the film Khatarnak . She says that it was a mistake to do an item number after making a mark as a heroine.
