The writer and creative director of Taare Zameen Par, Amol Gupte, is already being wooed by production houses. If sources are to be believed, Gupte is in talks with UTV, who have expressed a keen desire to work with him as a filmmaker and fund his future projects.
The director has not exactly had a very pleasant experience while filming for his debut film, but his hard work seems to have paid off. Talking about his future projects, Gupte says that he has completed two-film projects and is having high-profile meetings with Bollywood’s A-listers. The first film is again a children’s film that revolves around economic inequality and its immediate impact on children.
A part from a child protagonist, the film will have two leading actors who will portray siblings on screen. The second one is a comedy and is expected to feature Bipasha Basu, Boman Irani and Ritesh Deshmukh. If sources are to be believed, Gupte almost had a cakewalk roping in the stars for his movie. He apparently sent out a bound script to Bipasha and she was so impressed with the plotline that she immediately agreed to do the movie.
