Gopika and Navya are Mohanlal’s heroines in his new action masala film Ali Bhai, for which shooting has started in Kozhikode. The Shaji Kailas directed and Antony Perumbavoor produced film is Mohanlal’s big Onam release.
Mohanlal plays Ali Bhai, a trade union leader who controls the famous Palayam market in Kozhikode. Ali is the darling of the masses and downtrodden and helps anybody who comes to him without expecting anything in return.
There is a huge support cast in the film- Innocent, Cochin Haneefa, Sai Kumar, Rajan.P.Dev, Siddique, Jagadish, Shammi Thilakan etc. The script is written by T.A Shaheed, and music by Alex Paul.(In the pic: Mohanlal gets the blessing of his mother at 'Ali Bhai' launch)
