Arasangam's success has ensured the film's entry to Bollywood. According to industry sources, Ajay Devgan will star in the Hindi version. Shifting the laurels on Vijayakanth, its director Madhesh said that the actor, in spite of being a politician, agreed to act without mixing political flavors. Having reaped success in the box office it was decided to take additional prints of the film to meet the demand. It should be noted that Arasangam is Vijayakanth's 150th film!
