Manjari Fadnis who played second lead in Aamir Khan produced 'Jaane tu..', was initially apprehensive of taking up the role in the film which stars a host of newcomers, including the protagonists Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza.

"Yes, there were apprehensions initially. But, when the director Abbas Tyerwala narrated the script, I realised that my role was very interesting with lot of scope for performance. It had various shades of emotions," Manjari , who has played the lead in films like 'Rok Sako To Rok Lo' and 'Mumbai Salsa' told PTI here Monday.

She said the entire cast of the film participated in a workshop in Panchgani and had bonded well before the film went on floors.

"We had a blast and that reflected in our performances later on screen," she said.
