Adoor Gopalakrishnan has started working on two films simultaneously this week.
The films which will be made with the support of Doordarshan will have a big cast including Kavya Madhavan, Nanditha Das, Padmapriya and Manoj K Jayan.
The director who has been resting for the last four years are making his new ventures based on the six short stories by one of Kerala's illustrious novelists and short story writers, Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai.
Both the films - Moonnu Pennungal and Kallante Makan - are based on three short stories each which will be shot extensively in and around Alappuzha, the birthplace of Pillai.
