Aamir Khan has finally done it. After weeks of speculation, the actor has finally gone for the shaven look for his latest film, the Ghajini remake.

The actor managed to overcome his initial nervousness as hairstylist Avan Contractor set to work on him at his Pali Hill residence, in the presence of his wife Kiran Rao and close friends including Prasoon Joshi, and AR Murugadoss. Avan has also created a scar along with his razor. The entire process seems to have taken an hour-and-a-half. Looking a far cry from his long-haired Mangal Pandey days, Aamir seemed quite satisfied with his new look. As he said, Ghajini is a thriller and the look is an important dimension to the character that he is playing. In fact, so happy was Aamir with his look, that he threw an impromptu party to celebrate his new look. Meanwhile, Aamir has lot more reasons to feel good.

It seems that the Big B has finally found time to meet Aamir. It happened three days ago, when Aamir turned up at Mehboob Studio where Amitabh Bachchan is shooting for Aladin. After the Bachchan-Khan war of words over Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black, Aamir had wanted to meet the Big B and clear the air. But Bachchan had maintained that he was too busy to meet him. Apparently, Aamir arrived on the sets of the film and went straight up to Bachchan and spoke to him for a while and left. He did not interact with the other actors of the film. The Big B however, dismissed it as a routine courtesy call by Aamir and refused to reveal anything else about it.
