Popular music director AR Rehman had prepared an English music album called 'Pray For Me Brother' on the problems faced by poor people with a humane touch. The song would be the lead song for the millennium function of the United Nations. So far, AR Rehman used to sing the song on the stage whenever he got a chance. But the song was released in an album recently.

The song reflects the lakhs of poor people across the globe, who pray their fellow citizens to pray on their behalf to relieve them from poverty. The song has a melodious tune which touches the hearts of everyone. Recently, Rehman received an award instituted in the name of Jesudas and stated that 'Music is the language of his soul.'
