Shooting of a film directed by Krishna Teja, presented by Master NTR and produced by Charan Reddy on the banner of 9 Entertainments with Naveen as hero and a Mumbai model Arthi as heroine was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on March 19. Producer Achireddy gave the clap, SV Krishna Reddy switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. Earlier, Sakhamuri Panduranga Rao performed the puja activities. Speaking on the occasion, director Krishna Teja says, 'It is the story of a youth who revolt against the injustices in the society.

It is a film with action backdrop and a new subject for Naveen. Basically the film is based on screenplay. It has several elements like action, love, sentiment and comedy'. Hero Naveen says, 'This film is different from all the earlier films I played in my career. Generally, it is very uncommon that a character possessing different emotions, but in this role, there is one such opportunity. I am confident it would be a good film in my career.' Heroine Arthi says, 'I am very happy for getting a chance to make a debut into Telugu film industry.' Sri Vasanth, a protégé of Manisharma, is being introduced as music director through the movie. Producers say, 'The subject demands heavy budget. We also decided not to compromise in film making.

There will be high technical values in the film. Shooting and post-production formalities would be completed in three schedules to be held in March, April and May. We are planning to release the film in June.' Dandapani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Brahmanandam, Jeeva, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Mallikarjuna Rao, Rallapalli, Sutti Velu, Amith, Sudha, Rajitha and others are in the cast.
