The Nadigar Sangam has decided to take strict action against actors-actresses who do not participate in the cultural event at Singapore.
The South Indian Actors Association has decided to celebrate 75 years of Indian cinema on August 11 at Singapore. The arrangements are being made by Actors Association President SarathKumar, Vice President Vijayakumar, general secretary Radharavi and the board of executives.
Invitations have been sent to all the prominent actors and actresses who are members of the association. To follow up, the Actors Association executives have even met some of the actors and actresses personally and invited them to participate in the event.
About 60% of those invited have already agreed to, but others have cited reasons for being unable to take part in the function.
The South Indian Actors Association has decided to slap a ban on these stars. In this connection, discussions are taking place between executives of Actors Association, Tamil Film Producers Association and South Indian Film Employees Association (FEFSI)
