Only a few of her films have been released, but Padmapriya is already being gossiped about.

The only film she has on hand is 'Satham Podaathey.' Padmapriya has settled down in Hyderabad. So rumours abound that she will quit films. Another rumour has it that she's working as a software engineer at a company in Bangalore.

How far is it true? "It's true I have settled down with my parents in Hyderabad, but I have not quit films," says Padmapriya. "There is unnecessary false gossip about me in the media. I am not working in Bangalore. I am not quitting films. My aim is to make a good name as an actress and I won't rest till then."

Even though she is settled in Andhra, she does not have any Telugu film on hand. "I want to act only in Tamil and Malayalam films. A Malayalam film is always completed fast."

Why isn't she seen more in Tamil films? "Discussions are on about 2 films."
