My saying the word fire, one will not get burnt. One has to touch the fire to get burnt. These are Madhavan's words, learnt from experience.

Madhavan was so taken with the Marathi film 'Dombivli Fast' that he decided to produce it in Tamil and also act in it. He has also completed the project.

Titled 'Evano Oruvan,' the Marathi as well as Tamil versions are directed by Nishikant. His company Leukos Films has produced the film featuring Sangeetha as his wife and Seeman as a police officer. The salient point of the film is, there are no songs or fights.

The film is already running in several places overseas. It will be released on Dec 7 in Tamilnadu. Speaking about his film to the press, Madhavan introduced his company.

How is your experience as a producer?

"To act and collect one's fee is the easiest thing to do. To pay fees and produce a film is a pain. I was so impressed with the Marathi version of 'Evano Oruvan' that I ended up becoming a producer."

What is your next production?

"Oh my god…no more! Just producing one film is a gargantuan task and I'm not even thinking of any more productions. I do not aspire to become a director either. I don't think I'm up to the task right now. I have 'Vaazhthu' and 'Leelai' on hand. My idea is to continue to pay attention to acting."
