In celebration of the golden jubilee of the Madras Film Society, there will be a French film festival in Chennai. It is being conduced by the French Consulate, Alliance Francaise and International Cine Appreciation Forum in coordination with the Madras Film Society.
This evening at 6.30pm, Mme. Marie - Paule Serre (Director of Alliance Francaise of Madras) will inaugurate the festival.V. Sriram (Vice - President of Alliance Francaise) will introduce the 6 films to be screened in the festival from Aug 20 to 25.
It is noteworthy that these films are all directed by young French filmmakers.
