Directed by Krishna Mamidi and produced by Dr V Kusuma on the banner of Vijayasai Creations with Vasu and Varshini in the lead had completed the shooting and presently the film is busy in DTS mixing works. We launched the film with the title 'Punnami Vennela' but in order to suit the story well, we have changed it as 'Itlu, Nee Vennela'. We are making efforts to launch the audio in the firs week of April and release the movie by the end of April.' Director Krishna Mamidi says, 'The story and its treatment would be novel.

The film has several elements like love, sentiment, entertainment and others. Producer Kusuma did not compromise at any point of time and I am sure that the film would earn me a good name and it would be a big hit. The film runs with cinema as its backdrop. Earlier films like 'Seeta Maalakshmi, Sivaranjini and Rangeela' were proved big hits with similar backdrop and our film would repeat the history.' MS Narayana, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Devadas Kanakala, Narsing Yadav, Apoorva , Allari Subhasnini, Sarika Ramachandra Rao are in the cast. Camera is by RVN Koti, editing is by Nandamuri Hari, lyrics are by Rajkumar and Mangal Das, music is by Sundaran, while story and dialogues are by Vijayasai Creations unit. Screenplay, concept and direction are by Krishna Mamidi.
