Haryana girl, Jyotsna Bahl, welcomes the decision granting interim bail to Dutt as she says that Sanjay confessed the crime and it seems he shall never do it again in his life, "I feel it is right. He has already suffered a lot," she adds.

Kalpana Arora from Rajasthan feels strongly against the bail granted to Sanjay. She says that if somebody has committed a crime, he or she should suffer for that, as she vents out, "It is not fair if he (Sanjay) has got the bail."

Charanpreet Singh from Chandigarh seems visibly upset about the actor getting the bail, which according to him, shows, that law is not equal to all. He cries foul over the public pressure in favour of Sanjay, which in his opinion is because of the fever of the film personality. "It should not be like this."

Harsh, a Delhiite calls for a harsh punishment for Sanjay Dutt, as he quotes the reports wherein Sanjay himself has confessed doing the crime, "He should be punished and his star status should not be taken into account at any stage of the prosecution."

Vipul Nirwani, too from Delhi, hails the Supreme Court decision granting bail to Dutt and begs to forget the past doings of the high profiled actor, "He should come out on bail, as he enjoys a different status," he opines.

Preeti Aggarwal also coming from Delhi speaks strongly against the judgment as she says Dutt should not get the special treatment. She regrets that initially too, unlike others he has been charged just under arms act, which gives an impression that judiciary has been lenient towards the Bollywood star due to the public pressure.

Another Delhiite, Pankaj Alawadhi, questions the very judgment and says Sanjay managed to get the bail because of the competent team of lawyers and his political connections, "How come he is getting the bail for such a serious crime. Law should prevail," he exhorts.

Nidhi Sharma, again, a Delhiite has nothing to say in particular to Sanjay's case but strongly upholds the dictum, that, if somebody has done a crime he should be punished for it.

Kanupriya Sinha from Madhya Pradesh thinks that the decision is a good one, as she feels Sanjay did no wrong in keeping the weapons, which, he said, was for his own safety. There should not be any hue and cry if he is set free. Law should be case specific, as she asserts, "If one does not intend to harm anyone, what for should one be penalized."

Meenakshi Choudhary from Punjab feels Sanjay Dutt has already been punished enough, as she says, "If he did any crime, he has paid for it."

Rajani Jain from Delhi says, at the outset, that she does not fine Dutt as the accused, at the first place, "He should be released of all charges. We should all wait for the final decision before we put him in jail."

Priyanka Raina from Haryana calls the Supreme Court decision of granting bail to Dutt, as absolutely fine as she adds, "It is in sync with the track record of Dutt." She supports the public outcry in favour of Sanjay Dutt when she reasons, "We can gauge Sanjay, by the type of movies he makes and out of the numerous interviews he has given to the press."

Shiv Om Gupta from Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, calls the bail to Dutt as a big relief for the actor as well as the film industry as he exuberates his happiness, "It is good to see that the appellant (Dutt) has been heard by the competent apex court which has given due consideration filed by the actor (Sanjay Dutt)," explains Gupta.
