The Sumanth- Kaajal starrer Pourudu directed by debutant Raaj Aditya, presented by Annapurna Studios and produced by D Supriya on the banner of SS Creations, is all set for release on January 12 as Sankranthi gift. Producer Supriya, giving details, says, ' Sumanth played a never before character in his career which is quite different from routine. Sumanth played the role of a youth, who never questions what the country gave to us, and what we did for the country.

Director Raaj Aditya moulded the character in an excellent way. The film not only has a message but also has several other commercial elements to attract all classes of audiences. Definitely the film would earn a good name to all the unit members. Manisharma scored lilting tunes to all the songs and the audio is getting a very good response. We are confident that the film would be liked by all.' Camera is by Sudhakar Yekkanti, dialogues are by Marudhuri Raja, while story, screenplay and direction are by Raaj Aditya.
