The re-recording works of Kalyanam directed by Muralikrishna, presented by Dr K Krishna Prasad and produced by Koneru Sai Pratap on the banner of Srikar Film Crafts have been completed. Chandu and Jyotsna are in the lead. Producer Koneru Sai Pratap says, 'Music director Kanakesh Rathode had provided good music for the film and there was a very good response to the audio which was released into the market recently.

The re-recording has been completed and it is ready for release. We are planning to release the film in the second week of March.' Director Muralikrishna says, 'We brought out a good quality film with the help of the artistes and technicians.

There are several issues that would attract the youth and family. The song, Ninnu Chooste Naa Manasenduko…, which was choreographed in black and white format would remain a highlight. Samyogitha , Nandini Kapoor, Srinivas (brother of Sivaji), Pilla Prasad, Chinna, Ramireddy, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Surekhavani and others are in the cast. Camera is by Gadiraju Srinivas Rao, music is by Kanakesh Rathode, editing is by Menaga Sreenu, while story, screenplay and direction are by Muralikrishna.
